NONEL SL detonators consist of a short length of orange shock tube sealed and looped at one end (to facilitate easy attachment to the end of a detonating cord downline) with a detonator at the other end and designed for those surface and underground (noncoal) blasting applications that require multiple explosive decks in a single borehole or to provide in-hole delays in blasting applications where detonating cord (low strength) is used as the primary initiation system.
