Dyno Nobel Limited
A Global Leader in the
Commercial Explosives Industries
Dyno Nobel, the Explosives business of Incitec Pivot Limited, is a global leader in the commercial explosives industry. We provide blasting solutions and quality explosives products throughout North America and Australia, as well as to selected customers in other countries.
We have 36 manufacturing plants, including state-of-the-art initiation systems facilities in the United States, Australia and Mexico, and have the capacity to make one million tons of ammonium nitrate a year. Our employees include some of the most highly trained blasters in the industry.
Our safety standards are among the highest in the industry. We rigorously apply internationally recognized safety standards at all our locations and in everything we do - from storage and transport to handling and use.
Dyno Nobel traces its roots back to William Bickford's invention of Safety Fuse in 1831 and Alfred Nobel's legacy of safety and innovation dating back to 1865. These values form the global teams as they interact with and support customers across the globe.
Every Major Explosives Innovation
Over 170 years later, every major explosives innovation is a part of Dyno Nobel, starting with William Bickford and Alfred Nobel and including the development of slurry explosive in 1956 and the creation of DynoConsult in 1999. Our recent innovations - including the NONEL® detonator and our Titan® series of emulsions - have positioned the business as a technologically advanced provider of products, services and solutions.
While Dyno Nobel businesses manufacture and distribute a complete range of explosive products and services, it is also renowned for providing Value-In-Use solutions through our global consultancy division – DynoConsult. The DynoConsult team works in close partnership with Dyno Nobel customers to provide holistic solutions that result in reduced operational costs.
