How we made a mountain for Wesfarmers over breakfast.

Wesfarmers' Premier Coal Mine in Western Australia needed to reduce costs when blasting soft waste material.  So Dyno Nobel developed a low density product called  BlastLite simply by adding an organic ingredient that can be found on the breakfast table of most homes.  This reduced the amount of explosives used, in turn reducing blasting and operating costs.  It's practical innovations like these that have put us at the forefront of mine blasting.  And it's practical innovations like these that have enabled us to achieve groundbreaking performance for our customers.  Just ask Wesfarmers.
