Dyno Nobel, a leading global commercial explosives company, serves international customers under a new brand name
Dyno Nobel continues to provide quality explosives products and blasting solutions to our customers in North America, Australia, and New Zealand. All other international customers will be served under the dnx™ brand.
Both brands offer the same Dyno Nobel quality explosives products and blasting services. There have been no changes to existing product formulations, designs or processes; only the brand name may be different depending upon geography.
Why have two different brand names?
A consortium of investors, led by the Macquarie Bank Limited, purchased Dyno Nobel Holding ASA in 2006 and sold Dyno Nobel businesses in Latin America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The agreement precluded Dyno Nobel from servicing customers in those regions under its brand name, Dyno Nobel, and from using some previously registered trademarked product names (see product name equivalency below). Consequently, Dyno Nobel introduced the brand name dnx™ to continue to serve its international customers.
Many familiar product names have changed. However, there have been NO changes to the formulations, designs or processes.
