FIREX MS CONNECTOR nonelectric delay detonators consist of an 46 cm (18 inch) length of shock tube with detonators of the same delay on each end. The detonators are housed in connector blocks designed to accept detonating cord quickly, easily and securely. MS CONNECTORS are used to provide millisecond delay timing between holes of detonating cord initiatied blasts. They are available in delay times ranging fro 9 to 109 milliseconds.

This series of detonators provides the long delay times necessary for improved relief and fragmentation in underground mining (non-coal) and construction applications such as drift development, raise, shafts, slopes and tunnels. FIREX ELECTRIC LP can also be used for certain surface blasting applications, such as pipeline work, where long delay periods are advantageous.
