Titan® 1000
TITAN 1000 is an unsensitized, repumpable, bulk emulsion matrix specifically formulated for augered mixing with bulk ANFO to manufacture Titan 1000 Heavy ANFO blends. Titan 1000 Heavy ANFO blends with 50% or less emulsion are booster sensitive and provide excellent blasting performance in surface blasting applications where boreholes are dry or dewatered before loading. The emulsion percentage of Titan 1000 Heavy ANFO blends can vary from 5% to 50% to best match specific blasting requirements. Refer to the data table at left for the physical properties of typical Titan 1000 Heavy ANFO blends.

Titan® XL 1000
TITAN XL 1000 is a gassed, bulk emulsion made from TITAN 1000 or TITAN 1000 G specifically designed for quarry and open pit mining operations. Transported as an oxidizer, TITAN XL 1000 is formulated to be sensitized during the borehole loading process using Dyno Nobel's innovative chemical gassing and emulsion processing technology. The process used to manufacture TITAN XL 1000 enhances water resistance and detonation performance while improving loading characteristics. Chemical gassing allows the average density of TITAN XL 1000 to be varied as required to optimize its explosive performance for best blast results.

Titan® 1000 G
TITAN 1000 G is an unsensitized bulk emulsion matrix specifically formulated to be sensitized during loading at the borehole using Dyno Nobel chemical gassing technology. Titan 1000 G, Dyno Nobel’s high performance, booster sensitive emulsion explosive can be used alone in 2-1/2 in (65 mm) and larger boreholes or in larger boreholes when used in an emulsion/ANFO blend.
Chemical gassing can vary the density from 1.10 and 1.30 g/cc. In addition, the percentage of Titan 1000 G can vary to deliver explosive performance that best
matches specific blasting requirements. Refer to the data table at left for the physical
properties and loading methods for some typical Titan 1000 G emulsion/ANFO
explosive blends.

Titan® 1000 LD
TITAN 1000 LD is a booster sensitive, high performance, economical, repumpable bulk emulsion explosive specifically formulated to provide superior blasting performance in nearly all open pit applications where large diameter boreholes are used. Titan 1000 LD can be used alone, blended with up to 45% ANFO for direct pumping to the bottom of water-filled boreholes or as the emulsion explosive component for augerable Heavy ANFO blends. The percentage of emulsion in Titan 1000 LD Heavy ANFO blends can be varied to best match specific blasting requirements.

Titan® 1000 SD

TITAN® 7000 RU
Reduces Mining Costs
No other bulk underground emulsion can compare with TITAN 7000 RU’s ability to improve fragmentation and reduce drilling costs. Standard patterns can be drilled and loaded with a single product regardless of whether the holes are wet or dry.
Fast, Easy Loading
TITAN 7000 RU loads faster than traditional explosives in boreholes 1.75 inches in diameter and larger. Using Dyno Nobel loading equipment, 7000 RU maximizes loading density and borehole coupling to achieve cost effective results, especially in upholes.

TITAN® 7000 RU-A
TITAN 7000 RU-A is a booster sensitive, high performance, repumpable bulk emulsion explosive designed specifically for use in underground construction, quarry and mining operations where contact is likely with concrete or shotcrete used for ground support. TITAN 7000 RU-A also applies in situations where pH basic ore and/or basic water conditions exist or where fumes of ammonia are problematic. TITAN 7000 RU-A is specifically applicable in shaft sinking, tunneling, drift and raise development, room and pillar, mechanized cut and fill, vertical crater retreat, uppers retreat, bench and block cave mining methods.

FRAGMAX®

FRAGMAX is a high energy, cast booster sensitive, dry blasting agent designed (photo above shows Ammonium Nitrate Prills on left with Fragmax Prills to the right) for use in dry bore hole conditions in surface (quarry, mining, construction) blasting applications when primed with either nitroglycerin dynamite or a cast booster. Because of higher density and velocity of detonation, FRAGMAX provides greater bulk strength than DYNOMIXTM / ANFO enabling the user to benefit from improved fragmentation and/or expanded patterns. For bulk delivery, FRAGMAX can be premixed and delivered to overhead storage bins, mixed on-site with stationary equipment and loaded into blast hole delivery trucks or mixed as it is loaded down-the-hole with specialized mobile equipment.

Optimize Blasting Results
When gassed and/or blended with ANFO at the borehole, Dyno Gold Lite becomes a high bulk strength, booster sensitive explosive formulated for boreholes 2.5 inches in diameter and larger. In addition to customizing the blend with ANFO, the natural benefit of gassing, due to pressure differentials, is high density at the bottom of the borehole with less density higher in the column.

Water Resistant
Pumpable blends have excellent water resistance when loaded through the hose to the bottom of the borehole. Augerable blends diminish in water resistance as the percentage of emulsion decreases.
