PRIMASHEAR^TM

PRIMASHEAR is a low velocity, linear explosive designed for downhole use in dimension stone splitting and shearing applications.  The lower detonation pressure and velocity of PRIMASHEAR allow the user to reduce crack generation between closely spaced holes, resulting in reduced radial cracking as well as improved rock displacement.

Features & Benefits

• Produces significantly lower detonation pressures (600,000 psi) and detonating velocity [~5,000 m/s
  (16,400 ft/s)] resulting in reduced radial cracking
• Designed for use in dry holes
• Produces best results when used with Dyno Nobel's PRIMACORD 5 [5.3 grams/meter (25 grains/foot)]
