Blasting Safety

Comprehensive training designed for the blaster, this course material covers Dyno Nobel best safety practices as well as government regulations and the fundamentals of hazard recognition.

Products and Delivery Systems

Through classroom and hands-on activities, the blaster is instructed in explosives performance, characteristics and recommended applications to achieve optimum blasting results using:

Initiation systems including detonating cord, cast boosters, Electric Super and NONEL® detonators;

Packaged products including both cap sensitive and booster sensitive explosives;

Bulk explosives and their delivery systems including quality control and equipment operation.

Technical

We offer focused, application-specific instruction in both surface and underground blasting. In addition to blasting technique, separate Blast Optimization Team (BOT) training provides interactive instruction in customer/supplier team dynamics to collectively manage the rock fragmentation process to mutual benefit.

Sales/Customer Service

This highly interactive class uses role playing to teach the principles of selling from a win-win perspective as well as how to effectively build the customer/supplier relationship.
