My name is Amsyah Sebayang, President Director of PT DNX Indonesia based in Jakarta, Indonesia. I am responsible for all DNX Indonesia: 8 operational sites, more than 25 MPU’s and 400 employees. I have been working for Dyno Nobel for almost 22 years. I started when I was a fresh graduate from college as a Site Engineer.
I have never worked outside of Dyno Nobel and hope to retire with the company. I feel that Dyno Nobel is not just where I work, but my second home where I can contribute as much as possible and always receive support from the people surrounding me.
My greatest achievement is the ‘restart of Dyno Nobel in Indonesia with new entity of DNX’ after previous entity sold to one of our competitors. Within 5 years’ time, the market share of DNX reached 15% of the overall Indonesia market.
I think a diverse and inclusive culture forced us to grow as a company. Every single person has a different background/experience/mindset and when we combine each other’s strengths and experiences, we create the best team and excellent outcomes.
